Level One Imaging Solutions is a healthcare technolgy management company located in southern California.

History

- 2003 -

John Mendoza founded SCMES (Southern California medical Equipment Specialists) in his San Diego home garage. He had been working for a major OEM which he felt prioritized profits over the relationships with customers and employees. Against the advice of his colleagues, he left the security of a job with a global firm and ventured out on his own. He began by providing biomedical and imaging service for doctors offices and surgery centers.

- 2004 -

We incorporated and hired our first employee.

- 2012 -

We started providing service contracts for major hospitals.

- 2019 -

We changed our name to Level One Imaging Solutions to reflect our specialization in full-service care of diagnostic imaging technology in hospitals, imaging centers, surgery centers, and urgent care facilities.

- 2020 -

We became a second generation family business when our founder's son became a certified field service engineer.

Leadership

Level One Imaging Solutions is led by husband and wife team, John and Teresa Mendoza.

John has 30 years of experience in the diagnostic imaging field. Teresa has over 20 years of experience as business administrator and holds an MBA.

Together we have worked hard to to establish and grow a business that is able to consistently offer quality, professional service commensurate with OEMs and well known third party management companies. We strive to continually earn our clients' confidence in our capabilities, products, and results. We invest in training our field service team and expanding their education to keep up with industry developments. We have spent many years behind the scenes offering support for major third party management companies. We are now moving toward offering support to major hospital systems as changes in the industry and territory have created a need.
